My Favourite Place in KDT
Last week the students wrote paragraphs about their favourite place in our school. The process started with taking notes in many of the common areas of the school and then using the notes to help write the paragraph. The students also took photos of themselves in their favourite places. Have a look to see what part of the school your child loves.
Information:
Just to keep you up to date. I will be going off from June 3 to June 12 on parental leave for the arrival of our new baby. If you need to get a hold of the substitute teacher, Mrs. Schofield, you can call the School office to be patched through or leave a message.
The Blog will not be updated with school related information during the time I am away.
Today the students wrote paragraphs offering advice to my family about taking care of a newborn. Have a look at what they wrote... It was very helpful and quite amusing.

Mini-Market
Thank you to all who participated in the mini-market and stayed for our Assembly last Friday. Another big thanks to the students who made all of the wonderful crafts to sell in the market. In total we raised $286.10. Some more has come in since the market and we are now over $300. We will give half of the money to the Calgary Humane Society and half to The Mustard Seed. Well done everyone.
