This Week

We have a busy few days of school this week.
Here are some things to remember for this week:

Popcorn Days:

Tuesday and Wednesday
Bring a twoonie for popcorn.











Valentines Day: 

On Wednesday, we will be celebrating Valentines Day. Students are welcome to bring valentines for their friends and classmates. We will have an opportunity to pass them out in the afternoon. I have one rule regarding valentines. That rule is if you want to bring valentines cards for your classmates you must bring one for each student in our class. If you only bring cards for some, you will not be able to hand them out.

Unbirthday Party: 

At Ken Taylor School, we will celebrate an “Unbirthday”. This idea comes from Alice in Wonderland.  Not all students have the chance to celebrate their birthday during the school year and therefore, we have decided to celebrate EVERYONE’s birthday together! Along with our Valentines Day celebrations we will be having our unbirthday party on Wednesday afternoon. You are invited to send an extra special treat with your child that they can save for the afternoon celebration. You may want to write a note, or at least discuss with your child to hold off from eating their special treat until the afternoon.
